Usability Testing is a technique to determine the quality of user interaction with the application in terms of understood, easy to learn, attractive, easy to operate and effective.

ISTQB definition “Usability testing to determine the extent to which the software product is understood, easy to learn, easy to operate and attractive to the users under specified conditions.”

It indicates how fast and easily user can operate first time.

It is not for working or not, it’s more about how it feels to work with a certain element

It is one type of user acceptance testing which is performed to achieve user acceptance

It is type of black box testing which checks interface, flow, navigation and layout.

It is capable of being used, convenient and practicable for use.
